Our Wishlist
We appreciate your interest in making donations of stuff and money. Below is the list of some of the things we are seeking. If you or your business are ready to make a donation, please email us to arrange the transfer.
First, there are things that we need to keep our Hospitality Space stocked with.
- food items (gift cards for grocery stores are great)
- chocolate truffles (our mission is to out-choco all)
- good makeup items
- good clothes and shoes
- personal hygiene items
- seasonal gifts
Please note that we have limited capacity to store stuff, so we don't want bags of old clothes dumped on us, for example. Please email us and arrange any donations.
Then there are free services we wish to offer every so often, if some professionals are willing to donate their services...
- hair-styling
- legal clinic and education
- massages
Finally, we are of course happy to accept donations of cash and gift cards. Please send your financial contributions via Paypal to our email address, which is space@82ndCARES.org
We cannot accept checks at this point, but stay tuned; this could change sometime soon. If you want to donate a gift card, please email us for mailing address.
Please be advised that we are a grass-roots movement, not a 501(c)(3) entity. That means that your contribution will not be considered tax deductible by the IRS. We are currently working on changing this situation, but if this is a concern, please let us know.
