A New Resource for Women near 82nd Avenue

Founded in June 2009, 82nd/Foster Hospitality Space for Women provides hot food, coffee, sweets, clothing, information, and other resources for women living and working in the 82nd Avenue area (or elsewhere) in a compassionate, non-judgmental setting. We are not an "agency," but a group of area residents and allies, many of whom have first-hand experiences with homelessness, addiction, and/or sex trade.

82nd/Foster Hospitality Space for Women will be held every Sunday between 7-9pm (it will change to 4-6pm starting August 2nd) at 7958 SE Foster Rd. (bus #10, 14, 72).

Looking to volunteer?

We are all volunteers, and we recruit. Please check out our volunteer application and we'll go from there. If that sounds too intimidating, don't worry: we realise that not everyone is comfortable with such forms, so there are other ways you can get involved.

Looking to donate?

We need donations of food, supplies, services, and yes cash would be great. Please see our wishlist to find out how you can contribute stuff.
